The is one for the die-hards, the true fans of the PGA tour. The Sanderson Farms Championship is most likely going to be the down point of the PGA tour swing season, but that doesn\u2019t mean we can\u2019t make money on it. As most of the elite golfers are recovering from the Presidents Cup, some tour players are headed to the country club Jackson in Mississippi for the Sanderson farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have Sam Burns looking to defend his title, Sahith Theegala, Denny McCarthy, and Davis Riley looking for their first PGA tour win, and many others looking to solidify their status on tour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event has produced some decent winners over the last couple of years. Sam Burns, Sergio Garcia, Sebastian Munoz, and Cam Champ have all found themselves atop the winner’s circles in Jackson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for the course, the country club of Jackson is 7400 yard par 72 that features Bermuda grass throughout. I am looking for elite drivers of the ball, the ability to make a lot of birdies, and success on Bermudagrass courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s get into my favorite bets for the Sanderson Farms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outright: Scott Stallings +3000 (DraftKings) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think this is one of the best values on the board this week. Scott Stallings had an absolutely superb end to his 2022 PGA Tour season. With a runner-up finish at the BMW, a 13th place finish at the Wyndham, a 10th at Rocket Mortage, and back-to-back top 10s at the John Deere and Travelers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We see this a lot on tour where golfers get really hot on tour and then finally break through for a win. I think we can see a past champion of this event get another PGA tour win. Over the past 24 rounds, Scott ranks 5th in SG: Total, highlighted by elite tee to green play and putting. Along with his win (which was 10 years ago), he also has a 6th place finish just 2 years ago at this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe that Scott will get his first PGA tour win since 2016 here at the Sanderson Farms this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top 10: Keegan Bradley +350 (DraftKings) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think this is a really good price and also the perfect bet for Keegan since I don’t believe he possesses what it takes to win this event. However, I can certainly see him finishing in the top 10 at a really good number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keegan had a very underrated season in 2021-2022. He had seven Top 20 finishes and a lot of close calls. Keegan has also been an elite ball striker that has struggled with the flat stick. Nevertheless, Sergio Garcia was of that same template and was able to win at the Country Club of Jackson. He also should be well rested off a six-week break and hit the ground running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keegan finished 4th at this event in 2020, so he certainly has the potential for a high finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top 20: Trey Mullinax +240 (PointsBet) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another excellent number on a slam dunk play, in my opinion. Trey Mullinax is an excellent course fit for the CC of Jackson, and that was shown in his 4th place finish last year. He now has a win under his belt, major experience, and the freedom of a PGA tour card. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have no doubt that I will be backing Trey a lot this fall. Over the past 24 rounds, Trey ranks 1st in Strokes Gained \u2013 Total. That is very impressive. He also ranks 7th in Ball Striking and first in Birdies or Better Gained. The fact that he grew up in this part of the country is just the cherry on top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With his elite distance, familiarity with Bermuda Grass greens, and good course history. +240 on a top 20 is a silly number that we should take advantage of. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top 40: Mark Hubbard +160 (FanDuel) <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I can almost guarantee that it will be a profitable bet if you bet Hubbard’s top 40 every week during the fall swing. Hubbard, in my eyes, is one of the most consistent players on tour around his talent level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark has made 8 of his past 10 cuts. He gained strokes in every single major category in his last start at the Fortinet Championship. I really like to see someone gaining in every major category the week before I back them. This shows no real weakness in their game and the ability to carry it over to next week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hubbard will make the cut this week and find himself in the top 40 come Sunday afternoon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matchup Chris Kirk over Davis Riley +100 (DraftKings)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I will gladly take the plus money in this matchup here. On paper, Davis Riley seems like a perfect fit for this golf course. He dominates longer Bermuda grass tracks, but his course history is just not good here. He also had a very poor performance last week at the Fortinet. Chris Kirk is someone I trust a lot more to make the cut and finish in the top 30, which is what im looking for in a matchup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kirk has only missed one cut in his last six visits to Jackson. I think he wins this matchup easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
