Ryan Noonan<\/h2>\n\n\n\nBilly Horschel Top 20 +130 (FD)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
You can make the case that, outside of his late summer heater in 2018, Billy Horschel is playing the best golf of his career right now. He\u2019s always been one of the best putters on Tour, and he\u2019s increasingly consistent tee-to-green. The majority of his strokes gained off the tee (SG: OTT) come from his accuracy, which I\u2019m leaning on heavily this week at Sedgefield. His adjusted accuracy rate off the tee has been positive in 16 of 17 measured events this season, and he does so without sacrificing much in terms of distance. He\u2019s also back in the southeast and on his preferred putting surface. No one on Tour has won more events on Bermudagrass over the past decade than Billy Horschel (4), and he has a large sample of success here, including four T11\u2019s or better in his last five appearances. Considering fit and price, he\u2019s the clear play for me near the top of the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
See what else Ryan is betting on this week here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n I’ve talked up Adam Scott too much this season, I admit it especially with no real moment of contention to speak of, that being said I do admire his consistent play and the ultra tight schedule he keeps. I’ve picked Scott to win this week at 40\/1 which always feels like a big ask, but I’m also invested in Scott heavily in dfs\/props\/placing markers and my favorite one is Top Aussie +135, I don’t fear our biggest obstacle Jason Day one bit. -that final comment won’t burn me at all I’m sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Check out all of Geoff’s outright takes on this week’s betting preview<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Could this be Henley’s Sedgefield Redemption week? Last year he almost won wire-to-wire but ended up collapsing down the stretch. Like Conners, he is still searching for another PGA Tour victory and if the scar tissue from past failures is strong, this could be the week. He finished 10th in Detroit last week and was spectacular with his tee-to-green performance. He is one of the streakiest birdie-makers in the field and Bermuda has long been his favorite putting surface. He is also quite fresh compared to many of his fellow competitors. Last week was his first non-major event in the past 3 months. Sedgefield’s shorter “less than driver” layout is also perfect for him off the tee as he is an elite fairway-finder that lacks distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\nGeoff Fienberg<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
