While Clark still holds a one-shot lead, he made three bogeys on the back nine to finish at even-par for the round. Fitzpatrick was also on a roll, shooting 4-under through the first 11 holes until he collapsed down the stretch playing the last five holes at 4-over par. He sits in a tie for second with Smalley, Mitchell, McIlroy and Jim Knous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St. George&#8217;s Golf and Country and Club has proven to be a challenging test. Gusting winds only added to the difficulty on Friday. &#8220;Challenging,&#8221; McIlroy said. &#8220;I think the only thing this golf course needs for it to feel a little more major like is just a bit of length. I think that&#8217;s the only thing that&#8217;s missing. The rough is very penal, the greens are tricky, the wind&#8217;s up, it&#8217;s drying out a little bit because of the wind.
