With the weather looking to play a huge role in Thursday’s opening round of THE PLAYERS Championship, there are a lot of variables to weigh in selecting a group of First Round Leader bets. I am selecting players from both sides of the draw but am siding more with the PM wave. Morning winds look to be constant from the opening tee with gusts between 13-17 MPH. With the rain coming soon after the PM wave tees off, I’m predicting there will be a delay around 1-2 PM. This should really soften up the course for the remainder of the round. It will also guarantee “lift, clean and place” for those afternoon players. Winds will also diminish significantly after the precipitation passes and includes some actual sunshine!
Having hit three First Round Leaders already this calendar year, I’m a bit more aggressive with my process—three units total this week to get 18 units in return.
