Well, I knew Lee Hodges was a great play this week…
Thus, it is wildly tilting when I failed to put a pre-tournament outright on him. With a five-shot lead over J.T. Poston and up by six over Tony Finau, Hodges stands as a -300 favorite to win. He is gaining in every category, including almost nine strokes ball-striking. He handled the pressure of being the 36-hole leader marvelously on Saturday by shooting a 5-under round of 66 and maintaining his lead. While Finau has the firepower to come from behind with a really low number, I expect Hodges and his all-around game to come out on top, and rather easily at that.
