2022 RBC Canadian Open Round 4 Betting and Showdown Picks

Tony Finau caught fire in Saturday’s third round of the RBC Canadian Open shooting an 8-under 62 and shares the lead with defending champion Rory McIlroy who shot a 65 of his own. Justin Thomas (63) and Sam Burns (65) also shot low scores and are two shots back at 9-under. With the PGA Tour under threat from the rival LIV Tour, the star-studded leaderboard is just what was needed to get some of the attention back where it belongs heading into next week’s U.S. Open.

Players will go off in threesomes for tomorrow’s final round between 10:30 am-12:50 pm ET off of holes number one and nine. Weather does not look to play much of an impact with winds fairly consistent and light and a minor threat of some storms later in the day.

Like always, with ownership likely being very high on the two leaders, I will be fading both Finau and McIlroy. I always play “chase pack” golfers who have high upside on Sunday Showdown because those are the players who will be more aggressive and take more chances, which is what you need to place high in these contests.
