Heading into Sunday’s final round of the BMW Championship, the top of the leaderboard is stacked with recent major championship winners. Scottie Scheffler is the hands-down favorite at +130. Tied with him at the top is Matt Fitzpatrick who checks in at +360 to win. Sitting alone in third at 10-under is the current Open champion, Brian Harman at +600. Behind those three are numerous other big names including Max Homa at 9-under (+900), and Rory McIlroy (+1000), and Viktor Hovland (+1400) each at 8-under. It’s hard to see anyone below that elite group coming back from four or more shots behind. With Scheffler gaining strokes in all areas in round 3, including 1.85 with his putter, and leading the tournament in ball-striking, I expect him to be the last man standing come late Sunday afternoon.
