Rickie Fowler – Winning Time
Could Taylor Pendrith avenge his demons from last year when he collapsed under the pressure of Sunday’s final round pairing with eventual champion Tony Finau? Sure. Could veteran journeyman, Adam Hadwin who hasn’t won on Tour in over six years have the Sunday of his life? Of course. Could Collin Morikawa break his own win-less drought and go pin-hunting on every hole and overcome a four-shot deficit? He could indeed. Or will Rickie Fowler, who is following the exact recipe for success that I spoke of earlier in the week – that being a lethal combination of gaining strokes both on approach (first in the field) and with the putter (18th in the field) – hold on for his own first victory since the Phoenix Open back in 2019? There’s not a ton of betting value at -105, but unless you have a ticket on someone else, Rickie has been through the pressure of these Sunday rounds many times in the past and is very equipped to finish the deal tomorrow.
