Each week, I will be sharing the top 20 players in our model’s projections based on win percentage. I’ll also be including some reactions to the initial results and context as to why certain players landed higher or lower than the market. Here are the results for this week’s WGC Dell Technologies Match Play:

- The model has consistently been lower on Rahm than the market, and that’s likely due to his shotty recent putting. Though putting is often highly variable, we still find it an important feature to include, especially with the long-term view that we’re using. However, that changes this week with Rahm having the highest projected odds to win his group.
- For the second straight week, we are high on Webb Simpson. Last week was his first tournament back from injury and he got off to a hot start before falling down the stretch. Look for him to be competitive in group 15 this week .
- Speaking of injured players, we aren’t as confident in Bryson DeChambeau returning to form right away. He is in a group with Talor Gooch, who has six top-30 finishes in his last nine tournaments.
